OUR VISION
The New York City Community Mikveh is the shared vision of the leadership of all the streams in Jewish life in New York City. Pluralist, accessible, rooted in Jewish law, and relevant for today’s Jewish community, the New York City Community Mikveh will welcome thousands of people each year who are choosing to become part of the Jewish community through conversion, while also providing a sacred space for life’s transitions, a learning laboratory for future generations of communal leaders, and an entry point of education and experience for individuals who make up the mosaic of New York city’s Jewish community.
